ARFORA Undergraduate Scholarship for Women, USA

Each year, entries for the ARFORA Undergraduate Scholarship are accepted. Eligible candidates should be female students who are registered as members of a parish of The Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America. Two awards will be given. Each of those is amounting $1,000. The closing date of application is 10 May annually.

Scholarship Description
The ARFORA Undergraduate Scholarship for Women is exclusively for female students who are members of a parish of The Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America. The ARFORA Undergraduate Scholarship for Women was offered for the first time in 1994.

Award Value
Two scholarships, each for $1,000, will be awarded to selected students who have successfully completed their first year of an undergraduate program.

Level and Area of Studies
Undergraduate degree in any field of studies.

Place of Study
In the United States of America.

Eligibility and Criteria

  • The applicant must be a voting member of a parish of The Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America
  • She must have successfully completed her first year in an accredited university or college
  • She must be registered in an accredited undergraduate university or college for her next year of study

Applicants’ Nationality
The U.S. citizens are welcome to apply.
