Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds PhD Fellowships

Applications for the Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds Fellowship are now invited. This PhD Fellowships are junior European and Non-European scientist who are planning to pursue doctoral degree in biomedical field. The winning fellows will be granted a monthly stipend for maximum three years. To apply, entries must be received no later than 1 February, 1 June, 1 October of each year.

Fellowship Description
The purpose of these Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds PhD Fellowships is to promote basic research in biomedicine by providing the best young, up-and-coming scientists with comprehensive support during their PhD phase.

The winning fellow will be granted a monthly stipend for maximum three years.

Eligibility and Criteria
The Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds PhD fellowships open to European citizens working in Europe or overseas, and to non-European citizens pursuing their PhD project in Europe. Applicants should not be older than 27 years at the respective deadline (1 February, 1 June, 1 October).
