The applications for the Chappell White Scholarship are now accepted. Both Australian and overseas students are invited to apply. To be eligible, he or she must be highly talented PhD candidates majoring in related science. Those are selected will receive $6,500 per annum. The application deadline is 31 August for international students and 31 October for domestic students each year.
The Chappell White Scholarship provides students with the opportunity to further their field and laboratory research skills in Earth Sciences. This scholarship will be awarded each year to the most outstanding PhD candidate applying to study Petrology, including Ore Petrology.
Value and Tenure
The value of this scholarship $6,500 per year (or an amount stated in the letter of offer) for research expenses. The award is tenable for maximum three years.
