The Detroit Regional Chamber is now pleased to announce a scholarship which is Detroit Scholarship Fund (DSF). This scholarship is targeted Detroit-resident student graduating in the spring of 2017 from a high school in the city of Detroit. If you are qualified for applying the DSF scholarship please submit your application due to June 30, 2017.
Detroit Scholarship Fund is administered by the Detroit Regional Chamber, ensures that any Detroit-resident student graduating in the spring of 2017 from a high school in the city of Detroit will have a tuition-free path to an associate degree or technical certificate* at any one of five participating community colleges.
In 2011, Governor Rick Snyder announced his intention to provide Detroit high school graduates with a tuition-free path to an associate degree or technical certificate. The Detroit Regional Chamber is now pleased to administer the Detroit Scholarship Fund to fulfill the Governor’s pledge.

Eligibility and Criteria
The following are the main requirements of this Detroit Scholarship Fund (DSF): Attend any high school in the city of Detroit for at least two years and graduate from a Detroit high school in the spring of 2017 (must be a Detroit resident ). This includes schools operated by Detroit Public Schools (DPS) and the Education Achievement Authority (EAA), as well as self-governing, charter, private, alternative, and parochial schools.
