Wellcome Trust and the the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy are glad to invite applications for the Inspiring Science Fund Program. This call is intended to existing not-for-profit or charitable science centres in the UK. The value of the funding is maximum £3 million. To apply, please send your entries no later than 19 October 2017.
The Inspiring Science Fund supports science centres across the UK. It’s a capital fund that helps centres rethink what they do and what they offer to the public. The scheme is co-funded by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy and the Wellcome Trust. Value and Tenure
The value of the funding is ranging from £150,000 to £3 million. All projects should be completed by March 2021.

Eligibility and Criteria
The Inspiring Science Fund is open to existing not-for-profit or charitable science centres in the UK. Please note that organisations should:
- have been in existence for at least one year
- attract a minimum of 30,000 visitors a year
- have a proven and viable business model.
The organizations should be based in the United Kingdom.
