Internet Security Scholarship – $1,000 Digicert Essay Scholarship

The Internet Security Scholarship is now open. U.S students of permanent residents of USA are welcome to participate in. This is an essay based scholarship. The candidates are required to submit an essay prompting the topic question below. The essay must be submitted no later than 1 October 2017.

Scholarship Description
Most of today’s websites are secured with SSL Certificates, but even in the past few years Internet security has changed immensely. We want you to think about how fast the Internet security landscape is changing and explain how you see it evolving and improving in the future for both personal and business purposes.

Scholarship Value
The selected applicants of this Internet Security Scholarship will receive up to $1,000

College level in any subject.

In the United States of America

Eligibility and Criteria

  • Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident of the United States and may not be an associate (employee) of any division of DigiCert, Inc.
  • The Incoming freshmen candidates must be a current student and have a cumulative high school grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4-point scale and must have taken either the ACT or SAT test.
  • Current freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate candidates must have a cumulative college grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4-point scale, and be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university.
