Isaacs Scholarship, an English Scholarship at the City College, USA

Isaacs Scholarship annually open to City College students, either freshman and sophomore majoring in English. This scholarship will provide award valued up to $20,000. Please anticipate the application deadline in March every year.

Scholarship Description
City College offers outstanding teaching, learning and research on a beautiful campus in the heart of New York City. The college annually offers the Isaacs Scholarship for students enrolled the English classes. Isaacs Fellows are automatically part of the English Honors Program and are expected to pursue work on an Honors thesis with a mentor.

The applicants of this scholarship must provide a personal statement of 400-600 words explaining why you want to major in English and why you believe you are qualified for and would benefit from an Isaacs Scholarship.

Scholarship Value
The winners of this scholarship will receive a stipend of $2,500 for every 15 credits completed, to a maximum of $20,000.

Applicants must be freshman or sophomore at City College with a minimum 3.3 overall GPA and 3.5 GPA in your English classes.
