Ken Bird Memorial Scholarship at Westminster University, UK

The University of Westminster is pleased to offer a fully – funded award of the Ken Bird Memorial Scholarship. Students from all nations are welcome to apply, however preference will be given to female students from India and Sri Lanka. The closing date of application is 4 May 2017.

Scholarship Description
Ken Bird was formerly Chair of the University’s Technology and Design Department. This scholarship reflects Ken’s interest in South Asia as well as his desire to help provide educational opportunities for women. The family of Ken Bird will take an active role in the selection and welfare of the scholar. The scholarship is awarded jointly with International Students House.

Award Value
This Ken Bird Memorial Scholarship covers full tuition fee award, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London.

Undergraduate degree in technology field.

At Westminster University, UK.

Eligibility and Criteria
Preference will be given to you if you are a female student from India or Sri Lanka and hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate degree in a technology based subject at the University. The scholarship will be renewed each year subject to satisfactory academic performance.

Applicants’ Nationality
There is no nationality restriction, however the citizens of India and Sri Lanka are priority.
