Maxine Elmont Scholarship at MassBay Community College, USA

The MassBay Community College is pleased to invite applications for the Maxine Elmont Scholarship Program. Eligible candidate must  be a Commonwealth of Massachusetts Resident. They must be studying Human Services – related field. The winning student will receive $500. To apply, all materials must be submitted by 31 July 2017.

Scholarship Description
The Maxine Elmont Scholarship/s will be awarded for each spring semester to a student/s studying in the MassBay Human Services Department. This scholarship is limited to those 25 years of age or older.

Award Value: $500.

Eligibility and Criteria

  • Must be a Commonwealth of Massachusetts Resident and submit a FAFSA
  • Must be a Re-entry student 25 years of age or older
  • Be a Human Services major
  • Have completed a minimum of 6 credits
  • Have a Grade Point Average of 2.0 or higher
  • Must submit a recommendation from a faculty member
  • Must submit an essay of 250 words or less explaining what are your goals in Human Services
