Rebecca L. Lynch Memorial Scholarship at the University of Idaho, U.S.A

Annually, applicants are invited to apply the Rebecca L. Lynch Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is especially open to female students from New Zealand who will be undertaking bachelor program at Idaho University. The winners of this scholarship will receive a range of benefits which is tenable for one year. The application deadline is 31 August each year.

Scholarship Description
The Rebecca L Lynch Memorial Scholarship was established in 1985 and is funded by money invested in USA by Maurice and Alice Lynch, parents of Rebecca (who was killed in an accident in Nairobi at the age of 9). This application is for a one-year period of undergraduate study at the University of Idaho, USA from January to December.

Value and Duration
The winners may expect to receive the benefits of Non-resident tuition fees, registration fees, and room and board are covered by the scholarship which is tenable for one year.

Eligibility and Criteria
To be eligible, you must meet the requirements as follow:

  • have New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency;
  • be an unmarried female;
  • be under 24 years of age;

  • be an undergraduate at the time of taking up the scholarship.

Only New Zealander may apply this scholarship.
