Ronald McDonald House Charities Scholarships

The Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is delighted to offer a number of annual scholarships for 2017 round. The RMCH U.S Scholarships are available for those who will be pursuing bachelor degree. Four type scholarships will be granted i.e. RMHC Scholars Program, RMHC Asia Program, RMHC African-American Future Achievers and RMHC HACER Scholars. Most RMHC Chapters offer a minimum of $1,000 in scholarship awards to winning students. No application will be accepted after January 18, 2017.

Scholarship Description
Each year, the local branches of the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) offer scholarships for high school seniors who will be attending a two or four-year college. Since 1985, Ronald McDonald House Charities has awarded more than 52 million dollars in scholarships.

Award Value
Each of the RMHC Scholarship provides minimum $1,000 to the scholarship winners.

Level and Area of Studies
Undergraduate degree in any subject.

Place of Study
In the United States of America.

Eligibility and Criteria
General requirements of those RMHC Scholarships as follow:

  • RMHC Scholarships are for students in the US who live in areas where there are participating local Ronald McDonald House Charities Chapters.
  • students must be high school seniors.
  • Students are only able to apply for one of the four scholarships.
  • Students must intend to attend a two or four year college and have a minimum of a 2.7 GPA.

Each RMHC Chapters has own specific criteria as follow:

  • RMHC Scholars Program: This scholarship program is open to all students regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
  • RMHC Asia Program: The RMHC Asia Program is for applicants who have at least one parent of Asian-Pacific heritage.
  • RMHC African-American Future Achievers
    The Ronald McDonald House Charities African-American Futures Scholars Program is for students with at least one parent of African American or Black Caribbean heritage.
  • RMHC HACER Scholars: RMHC HACER Scholars is for students with at least one parent of Hispanic/Latino Heritage
