The National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program

Applicants are now invited to apply the NHSC Scholarship Program for 2017 entry. Those who are the citizen of U.S.A and pursuing degree of eligible courses are welcome to apply. Applications are accepted through April 27, 2017. The scholarship recipients will be awarded a number of interesting benefits including a monthly stipend and tuition fees.

Scholarship Description
The U.S Department of Health and Human Services is now offering the National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program. The scholarship award are specially targeted to candidates who are committed to primary care and accepted to or enrolled in an accredited U.S. school in one of the courses listed below. Selected scholars are expected to work at least 2 years at an NHSC-approved site in a medically underserved community.

Award Value
The winners of this scholarship may expect to receive the benefits as follow: tuition, fees, other educational costs, and a living stipend.

Level and Area of Studies
Degree level in one of the following primary care disciplines:
– Physicians (MD or DO)
– Dentists
– Nurse Practitioners
– Certified Nurse-Midwives
– Physician Assistants

In the United States of America

Eligibility and Criteria
The following are the main requirement of this scholarship:

  • U.S. citizen or U.S. national
  • Full-time student at an accredited school
  • Pursuing a degree in an NHSC-eligible discipline

Applicants’ Nationality
Only the U.S citizen may apply this scholarship.
