The application for the Al Alfi Foundation Sustainable Development Fellowship are now accepted. This scholarship available for Egyptian students who will be undertaking master program majoring in science in sustainable development at American University in Cairo – AUC. This fellowship provides 5 awards that cover full or partial award. To apply, the completed application form must be submitted no later than April 15 annually.
Al Alfi Foundation Sustainable Development Fellowship is jointly offered by the Al Alfi Foundation and AUC, represented by the Center for Sustainable Development. The program is designed to identify and prepare future leaders who are Egyptian nationals and who have strong knowledge and skills in science, engineering, business, policy and social sciences.
The long-term objective of the program is to develop a new cadre of entrepreneurial leaders who are capable of filling critical positions in industry, public sector and civil-society organizations in Egypt, and who can successfully integrate technical, business and social skills to contribute to comprehensive sustainable development in Egypt and beyond.
The winners of this fellowship may expect to receive the following benefits:

Eligibility and Criteria
To be qualified candidates, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be Egyptian citizens
- Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Must have a background in science, engineering, policy, business or social sciences.
- Possess a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent of gayed gidan.
- Be admitted into the master’s program in sustainable development
Only Egyptian students may apply this Al Alfi Foundation Fellowship.
