Alex C P Chu Trade for Training Scholarship

The Massey University in New Zealand is delighted to invite applications for the Alex C P Chu Trade for Training Scholarship. This call is intended to New Zealand students pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in the area of Agriculture and Horticulture. The scholars will be participating in overseas study and/or student exchange as part of their programme. Please anticipate the annual deadline in November 1st.

Scholarship Description
This Alex C P Chu Trade for Training Scholarship Program is aimed to encourage New Zealand agriculture and horticulture students to experience aspects of their discipline area within an overseas culture.

Award Value
The value of the scholarship is determined each year from the interest earned on the capital. The scholarship is offered annually as funds permit and the tenure is for a single academic year.

Level and Area of Studies
undergraduate or graduate degree in the area of Agriculture and Horticulture to participate in overseas study and/or student exchange as part of their programme.

Place of study
At the Massey University in New Zealand and abroad.

Eligibility and Requirement
Applicants must be:

  • enrolled in a postgraduate or undergraduate course in agriculture or horticulture mainly with paper prefixes of 111, 112, 117, 119, 138, 171, 188, 189, 238, 239, or 285.
  • eligible to participate in overseas study and/or student exchange as part of their programme.
  • the selection criterion is academic merit and the approval into an overseas exchange programme or internship.
