Aziz Jamaluddin Scholarship in the United States

The Aziz Jamaluddin Scholarship Program is now open. The scholarship is open to Moslem American students pursuing degrees in the fields of Journalism and Political Science. Ten awards are given annually. The deadline is March every year.

Scholarship Description
The scholarship is offered through The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). It is the goal of the Jamaluddin Family Foundation and founder Aziz Jamaluddin to have a generation of educated Muslims to speak out and communicate the true meaning of Islam in all types of media. The Jamaluddin family arranged for a scholarship fund to be established to support five students each year throughout their education in the fields of Journalism and Political Science.

Eligibility and Criteria
Applicants must have a minimum 3.5 GPA, demonstrated financial need, and major in Journalism or Political science at an accredited U.S. institution. All applicants must be American citizens or permanent residents.
