Beacon Scholarship for Rural America in USA

The College Foundation of North Carolina is accepting applications for the Beacon Scholarship for Rural America. This program is open to college students living in a rural area from a low-income family. The deadline is 31 October and 30 June every year.

Award Value
Two $1,000 scholarships for the fall semester, and one $1,000 scholarship for the spring semester.

Level and Area of Studies
College level in any field.

Place of Study
The study will be taken in the United States.

Eligibility and Criteria

  • Be college-bound graduating high school seniors, current college students, or adult learners with a GPA of 3.0 or higher (high school or college) who are planning to enroll in an accredited college/community college/trade school program.
  • Reside in a rural area from a low-income family (both rural and low-income are defined on the application page at: www.carrot-top.com/beacon-scholarship.
  • Employees of Carrot-Top Industries and their immediate relatives are not eligible

Applicants’ Nationality
The United States citizens are welcome to apply.

Submission Deadline
The deadline is 31 October and 30 June every year.
