The University of Bournemouth is offering the Sophie Drozdzik Memorial Scholarship Program. The scholarship will be awarded to students applying for a full-time undergraduate course at BU, studying a creative subject at one of the seven colleges* within the Warwickshire College Group. All eligible applicants must be living in the United Kingdom. Expires in 75 days!
Sophie developed juvenile myoclonic epilepsy just before her 17th Birthday, whilst studying at college. She passed away whilst suffering from an epileptic seizure during the summer of 2015. She had excelled in her qualifications at Warwickshire College and was due to receive an Academic Excellence Scholarship from BU. In recognition of her academic endeavour, her dedication to learn and her outgoing character, her family, college and BU have developed this scholarship in her memory.
£2,000 paid during the first year of your degree.

Eligibility and Criteria
- Any applicant domiciled in the UK applying for a full-time undergraduate course at BU, studying a creative subject at one of the seven colleges* within the Warwickshire College Group
- The applicant must achieve ABB or above at A-level, or DDM or above at BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (or equivalent)
- Applicants for one year Top-up courses are not eligible for this scholarship
- Applicants for courses offered through partner colleges are not eligible for this scholarship
