Concerto Competition for High School Musicians

“The President’s Own” United States Marine Band, in conjunction with the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, is delighted to invite applications for the Concerto Competition. All candidates must be High School Musicians at any school in the United States. Three winners will be selected to receive the award. The closing date of submission is 15 November 2020.

Scholarship Description
“The President’s Own” United States Marine Band, in conjunction with the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, is pleased to announce its 2021 Concerto Competition for High School Musicians. The winner will appear as a guest soloist with the U.S. Marine Band and receive a $2,500 scholarship from the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation. Second and third-place winners will receive $1,000 and $500 scholarships respectively.

1st Place: $2,500, 2nd Place: $1,000 and 3rd Place: $250

Level and Area of Studies
High school level in any field.

Place of study
Any college or university in the United States.

Eligibility and Requirement
This competition is open to high school musicians (grades 9-12) enrolled during the 2020-2021 academic year. Performers of woodwind, brass or percussion instruments may apply.
