The Faculty of Engineering of Strathclyde University is offering number of scholarships available for new self-funded, international (non-EU) fee paying students with excellent academic qualifications. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students are eligible for the scholarships. Expires in 76 days!
The scholarships are available if you’ve applied for a relevant course. You must also start your studies from September 2019, or later on in the 2019-20 academic year. Please note that students applying for the MSc in Civil Engineering with Industrial Placement with a January 2019 start date are also eligible to apply.
If you’re applying for an undergraduate course or a postgraduate research degree, you’ll receive up to £4,000 for your first year of study and an additional £1,500 for each subsequent year. Postgraduate Taught students will receive up to £3,000 towards their tuition fees.

Undergraduate and postgraduate degree in Architecture, Biomedical engineering, Chemical and process engineering, Civil and environmental engineering, Design manufacture and engineering management, Electronic and electrical engineering, Mechanical and aerospace engineering, Naval architecture, ocean and marine engineering.
Place of Study
The study will be taken in Scotland.
Eligibility and Criteria
- The scholarship is available for application to all self-funded, new international (non-EU) fee paying students holding an offer of study for the University of Strathclyde.
- You must start your full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme at Strathclyde in the coming academic year (2019-20), unless starting on the MSc in Civil Engineering with Industrial Placement which has a January 2019 start. Postgraduate research students can start at any time throughout the year.
There is no nationality restriction.
