FFI Freda Bage Fellowship in Australia

The Fellowship Fund Inc (FFI) is delighted to invite applications for the Freda Bage Fellowship. This fellowship open to any students who will be commencing their PhD degree in September. The winning fellows will receive approximately $26,288 plus 10%. To apply, entries must be received by May each year.

Fellowship Description
Fellowship Fund Inc (FFI) offers Freda Bage Fellowship each year. The Fellowships are named after women who have made outstanding contributions as scholars and leaders in tertiary institutions in Queensland. This three year fellowship open to those undertaking doctoral degree only. Recently, up to five awards will be given.

Award Value
The annual value of the Fellowships is linked to the value of Australian Postgraduate Awards (APAs) plus 10%. As an indication, the APA stipend rate in 2016 is $26,288 for a full-time student.

PhD degree in any subject.

Place of Study
The study will be taken in Australia.

Eligibility and Criteria
FFI awards its Fellowships using a holistic review and selection process. Applications from all academic disciplines are welcome. FFI’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of any aspect of the applications and awards process.

Applicants’ Nationality
There is no nationality restriction.
