Applicants are now invited to apply the Gini Foundation Grants. Those grants are targeted to non-Italian scholars who are not exceed 35 years old. Each of the successful applicants are expected to participate in studies at departments of the University of Padova in one of the defined field below. Up to Euro 11,000.00 will be awarded to each of the selected scholars. To apply, all required documents must be submitted no later than 15 September each year.
The Foundation “Ing. Aldo Gini” support, for a period of not more than one year, those who plan to pursue a period of study and/or specialization at departments of the University of Padova in the scientific fields of Agriculture, Engineering or Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences for a period of at least six months.
Value and Tenure
The amount of each grant will not be more than Euro 11,000.00 gross, including travel costs. The awards are tenable for maximum one year.
Level and Area of Studies
Non-degree program in one of the following fields: Agriculture, Engineering or Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences.
Place of Study
The study can be taken at the University of Padova, Italy.
Eligibility and Criteria
To be eligible, candidates candidates must be foreign nationals who may apply for the grants must be less than 35 years old at the closing date for the call and hold a Master of Science degree from a foreign University in subjects pertaining to the scientific fields above.
Non-Italian scholars are welcome to apply.
In addition to the completed application form, the following documents must be submitted:
- Curriculum vitae in European format;
- Notification of any contributions obtained for study and/or research;
- Original Master of Science certificate;
- Detailed programme of the studies or research to be carried out;
- Declaration of acceptance;
- Declaration of adequate knowledge of the English language;
- Any other useful credential.
