The Heart Foundation Fellowship is now open. This fellowship is specially available for Australian and New Zealand PhD graduates willing to have career as cardiovascular health researchers. The Hearth Foundation Fellowship offers stipend up to $75,000 p.a. (pro-rata) to the successful fellows.
The Heart Foundation is an independent, Australia-wide, not-for-profit health organisation, funded almost entirely by donations from the Australian public. Their purpose is to reduce premature death and suffering from heart, stroke and blood vessel disease in Australia. The Heart Foundation offers awards to fund research which is conducted primarily in Australia and is engaged in research related to cardiovascular health.
The granted fellows will receive stipend valued up to $75,000 p.a. (pro-rata).

Postdoctoral research in cardiovascular health related studies.

The research can be conducted in Australia.
Eligibility and Criteria
To be eligible to this hearth foundation scholarship the candidates must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident or must have applied to become an Australian permanent resident. Evidence that Australian permanent residency has been granted will be required before an award can commence. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the award. Applicants must be in their first 3 years post awarding of their PhD on the application closing date, in any area of cardiovascular health research, including biomedical, clinical, public health and health service delivery.
