AUC is granting international non-degree opportunities. Students who receive federal or institutional financial aid at their home universities can apply the funds received to their study abroad program costs. Applicants should meet with their study abroad and academic advisors to learn about opportunities for transferring aid. AUC is currently providing four study abroad scholarships: Simpson Endowed Scholarships in Egyptology for one year; Hermann F. Eilts Endowed Scholarship in Middle East Studies for one semester/year; Study Abroad Scholarships for one semester and The Pangburn, Ellis, LaBarge Study Abroad Fund in all disciplines for one semester.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Applicants should have an interest in the Middle East to pursue Middle East studies, political science or history at AUC for one semester/year
- GPA should be a minimum of 3.2 or more
- Minimum number of credit hours should be 12 credits during the semester of the award
- It is awarded for one semester and can be extended to one year based on merit.
