Each year, the University of Liverpool invites applications for the Hong Kong Graduate Association (HKGA) Scholarship. The scholarship is exclusively open to Hong Kong or Chinese students who will or currently pursuing undergraduate program at the university. The scholarship covers tuition fee and living expenses. The application deadline is 31st May each year.
These scholarships were established in 1997 following a generous donation from an anonymous benefactor. The objectives of the scholarships are to promote educational exchange and academic research respectively, between the University of Liverpool and residents of Hong Kong SAR and the People’s Republic of China.
Successful candidates will be awarded a scholarship to cover partial payment of the tuition fee or living expenses.

Eligibility and Criteria
To be eligible, candidates must secure a place to study undergraduate program at the university. Those who are already in their first or second year of undergraduate studies at the University of Liverpool at the time of application are also eligible to apply for the Scholarship.
Only Hong Kong or Chinese citizens are invited to apply.
Scholarship applicants, including those applying for renewal, should submit their applications directly to the Graduate Association by the deadline using the prescribed form UG-AF1 via email to Prof. PC Ching ( firstname.lastname@example.org ). Applicants will then receive a Reference Number from the Graduate Association within one week.
