INSEAD Bischoff Family Endowed Scholarship Program

Applications for the INSEAD Bischoff Family Endowed Scholarship Program are currently being accepted. The scholarship is exlusively open to students from southern Africa and South-East Asia. They must have been admitted to MBA Program. The application deadline is vary.

Scholarship Description
The Bischoff Family has established an endowed scholarship to support future participants from southern Africa and South-East Asia who demonstrate both merit and financial need. The family has a long-standing relationship with INSEAD and strong links to both of these regions: Sir Win Bischoff attended the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa and has worked extensively in South-East Asia; Christopher Bischoff (MBA ’00D) and his brother Charles were both born in Hong Kong and have worked in the region. Candidates from countries bordering South Africa (as well as Mauritius) and from South-East Asian countries (except for Korea and Japan) are eligible.

Award Value
The winning candidate will receive benefit of €10,000.

Eligibility and Criteria
Candidates admitted to the INSEAD MBA Programme from these two regions who stand out in terms of previous academic achievement and who require financial assistance.

Applicants’ Nationality
Candidates must be citizens of Southern Africa and South-East Asia.

Aplication Instruction
To apply, candidates are required to submit on the topics as follow:

  • In approximately 350 words provide a concise but accurate description of your financial circumstances as well as your budget for the year at INSEAD. How do you expect to finance your studies if you do not obtain a scholarship from INSEAD? Why INSEAD should consider you for the Diversity scholarship? What amount do you consider appropriate? Please do not forget to submit a number of supporting documents as required.
  • Only if you would like to be considered for the IAF Special Profile scholarships, please answer the following question in no more than 400 words: Briefly describe an instance or aspect in your life to date that has made you stand out amongst your peers or that you consider exceptional in one way or another.
