The Nestle Nutrition Institute is delighted to invite the worldwide scholar to apply NNI Research Fellowship. Fellows are expected to participate in postgraduate research training in the area that related to nutrition studies. A range of interesting benefits will be granted to each of successful applicants.

Scholarship Description
The Nestle Nutrition Institute offers research grants in the fields of young women’s health, mother and child health and nutrition. They offer these fellowship grants to health professionals from anywhere in the world applying for postgraduate research training. The duration of the training can last up to 12 months. All institutions offering a training programme in the area of Maternal and/or Child Health and Nutrition are eligible to be a host institution.

Value and Tenure
The selected fellows may expect to receive the benefits as follow which is tenable for maximum one year: fellow’s round trip travel to the host Institution, lodging expenses and a monthly stipend in addition to any host institution fees and some study related expenses up to 40’000 CHF.

The research can be taken worldwide.

Eligibility and Criteria
Priority consideration for this prestigious fellowship will be given to candidates in junior positions from emerging countries. The candidates’ history of previous or alternate grants will be taken into consideration.

All nationalities except the U.S are eligible to apply.

Application Instruction
To apply, all candidates are required to provide the completed application form and all these documents:

  • Details of their current level of training,
  • Curriculum Vitae,
  • A plan of the proposed training
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Letter stating intent to return to the home country upon completion of the program.
