IRAS Scholarship Program in Singapore

Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) is pleased to offer the IRAS Scholarship Program for students pursuing undergraduate degree in the fields of Business, Economics, Information Technology, Real Estate and Statistics. Please note that only Singapore citizens or permanent pesidents (PRs) intending to take up citizenship are welcome to apply.

Scholarship Description
At Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), we believe that people are one of the most important assets critical to our success. We are committed to develop the potential of talented individuals through the IRAS Scholarships.

Award Value
There are three types of scholarships. Each scholarship has own benefits as follow:
IRAS Mid-Term Scholarship:

  • Tuition and compulsory fees
  • Maintenance allowance (inclusive of book allowance).
  • Computer allowance.
  • Pre-studies allowance (inclusive of settling-in allowance; warm clothing allowance (overseas only)).
  • Miscellaneous allowance.
  • Hostel allowance (local only).
  • Return airfare (beginning & end of course; attachment in IRAS; overseas exchange, if any) (overseas only).

IRAS Overseas/ Merit Undergraduate Scholarship:

  • Tuition and compulsory fees
  • Maintenance allowance (inclusive of book allowance).
  • Computer allowance.
  • Pre-studies allowance (inclusive of settling-in allowance; warm clothing allowance (overseas only)).
  • Miscellaneous allowance.
  • Hostel allowance (local only).
  • Return airfare (beginning & end of course; attachment in IRAS; overseas exchange, if any) (overseas only).

IRAS Scholarship for Real Estate:

  • Tuition and compulsory fees
  • Maintenance allowance (inclusive of book allowance).
  • Computer allowance.
  • Miscellaneous allowance.
  • Hostel allowance if applicable.

Level and Area of Studies
Undergraduate degree in in the fields of Business, Economics, Information Technology, Real Estate and Statistics.

Place of Study
The study will be taken in Singapore.

Eligibility and Criteria
In order to be eligible applicants must have outstanding GCE ‘A’ level results, polytechnic results or equivalent (e.g. International Baccalaureate (IB), NUS High School Diploma).

Applicants’ Nationality
The citizens of Singapore or permanent residents are welcome to apply the IRAS Scholarship.
