John Wright Scholarships

Southern Institute of Technology – SIT in New Zealand is offering two types of John Wright Scholarships; sport and academic scholarship. Those scholarships are available for international students from India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Up to 8 sport scholarship and 16 academic scholarship winners will be selected to receive to award.

Scholarship Description
The John Wright Scholarships acknowledge the contribution of this famous New Zealand sportsman. John Wright is a former international cricketer who represented and captained New Zealand’s national cricket team, the Black Caps. John went on to coach the Indian national cricket team from 2000 to 2005 before becoming the New Zealand cricket coach in 2010.

Award Value
The winner may expect to receive full or partial scholarship.

Level and Area of Studies
Postgraduate Diploma, Bachelor Degrees and Graduate Diplomas in any field.

Place of study
At Southern Institute of Technology in New Zealand.

Eligibility and Requirement
The John Wright Scholarships are open to men and women from India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Applicants must be international students and have completed study to a level which meets the requirements for entry into the SIT programme they are applying for. Scholarships are available for programmes offered at SIT’s Invercargill campus.
