The Mas Family Scholarship is currently offered to American students who are born in Cuba or direct Cuban descent. The selection of the Mas Family Scholarship will be based on the academic performances of the candidates. The winners of this scholarship will be awarded up to $32,000 in total. The deadline is 15 December every year.
Mas Family Scholarship is specially available those who are born in Cuba (or are of direct Cuban descent). The main purpose of this scholarship is to “advance the education of talented young Cuban and Cuban American men and women, furthering their commitment to promoting the benefits and opportunities that can be garnered through hard work in a free society.”
The winner of Mas Family Scholarship may expect to receive up to $8,000/year for four years.

Eligibility and Criteria
The following are the fundamental requirements of Mas Family Scholarship: Students must demonstrate demonstrated financial need and must have a minimum of a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Cuban American Students only.
Eligible candidates should include the following information within their application:
