The University of Waterloo in Canada is delighted to invite applications for the Michael and Ophelia Lazaridis Olympiad Scholarship Program. Both Canadian and overseas students are welcome to apply. They must be pursuing an undergraduate degree program in the faculty of Mathematics at the university. Expired 14 days ago, try next time!
A scholarship will be presented annually to a full-time undergraduate student entering first year of a program in the Faculty of Mathematics (excluding Software Engineering, Computing and Financial Management, double-degree programs, and students participating in the Mathematics/English Language for Academic Studies program). Recipients of this scholarship must be medalists in either the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) or the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) before their final year of high school. This scholarship will cover the cost of the following for a maximum of eight terms: full tuition (including incidental fees), co-op fees, text book allowance, a residence allowance, and a food allowance. This scholarship is supported by a generous donation made by Michael and Ophelia Lazaridis to attract exceptional individuals to join Waterloo as researchers and students.
The scholarship covers full cost of tuition, books, living expenses for eight terms.

Undergraduate degree in Mathematical studies.
Place of Study
The study will be taken in Canada.
Eligibility and Criteria
Candidates will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Academic performance.
- Medalist in IOI or IMO.
- Extracurricular involvement as assessed through the National/Global Scholarship application.
There is no nationality restriction.
