Norman Macgeorge Scholarship

The University of Melbourne in Australia is glad to invite applications for the Norman Macgeorge Scholarship. This research scholarship is available for either domestic and international students. The winners may expect to receive benefit up to $6, 000.

Scholarship Description
This scholarship provides grants of up to $ 6000 to support PhD students in the visual, creative and performing arts, music, architecture, conservation, literature, creative writing, language, history, philosophy and anthropology at the University. The scholarship enables PhD students to conduct research trips overseas in the 12 months from July 1.

Award Value
Up to $ 6000 will be granted to the winning applicants.

Level and Area of Studies
PhD research program in the area of Architecture, building and planning; Historical, philosophical, political and social studies; Language, literature and cultural studies; Music; Performing and visual arts, theatre, film and television.

At the University of Melbourne in Australia.

Eligibility and Requirement

  • Be a PhD student at the University of Melbourne and have completed an Australian honours degree or equivalent at a high level of achievement
  • Be in the early stages of your candidacy for a research higher degree in the visual, creative and performing arts, music, architecture, conservation, literature, creative writing, language, history, philosophy and anthropology at the University of Melbourne and have maintained satisfactory progress since commencement
  • Be enrolled as a full or part time student at the University of Melbourne
