The University of Canterbury in New Zealand is accepting applications for the Owen Browning Scholarships. Students from all over the world are invited to apply. They must be pursuing master or doctoral in Forestry study at the university. Entries are accepted by 1 November 2020.
These Owen Browning Scholarships are provided by the former Hutt Timber Holdings Limited, as a memorial to the late Mr Owen Browning, who was prominent in the development of the New Zealand timber industry.
Various amount of the award is available for the winners.

Eligibility and Requirement
A scholarship shall be tenable initially for one year in the case of a scholar studying for the MForSc degree, for one year in the case of a scholar studying for the MSc degree in Environmental Science (who is wholly supervised by the School of Forestry), and for two years in the case of a scholar studying for the PhD degree in Forestry or Forestry Engineering.
