The University of Auckland in New Zealand is currently accepting applications for the Philip Deibert PhD Scholarship Program. This is available for any student applying admission for doctoral program in the field of planning at the university.
The Philip Deibert PhD Scholarship was established in 2018 and is funded by a bequest from Philip Robert Deibert, who began his career as an architectural draughting cadet at the Ministry of Works and Development (MWD) in 1960. The intention of the Scholarship is to encourage and support an academically excellent domestic, or international student who is paying domestic fees, to undertake doctoral study in Planning at the University of Auckland.
The winner will be granted benefit up to to $27,600 pa plus $7,250 towards compulsory domestic fees.

Eligibility and Requirement
You need to have completed a postgraduate bachelor’s (honours) degree with first-class or second class (division 1) honours, or a master’s degree with first-class or second class (division 1) honours in a relevant field.
You do not need to apply for this scholarship, award or prize or complete an online application form. It is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.
