SAgE Doctoral Award, A PhD Training in Science, Agriculture and Engineering

The Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering of Newcastle University will provide up to £74,000 each for 27 candidates of Doctoral Training Scheme. UK and overseas students are welcome to apply. The completed application form must be submitted no later than 22 January 2016.

Scholarship Description
The Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering is now accepting applications from outstanding UK/EU and International students to join our Faculty Doctoral Training Scheme. This doctoral training available across the broad themes as follow:
• Big Data for Cloud Computing
• Biomedical Engineering
• Earth Systems Engineering and Science
• Energy
• Food Security and Ecology
• Human-Computer Interaction
• Medicinal Chemistry
• Materials
• Physics
• Synthetic Biology

Award Value
Each award is set at the fixed sum of £18,500 per year towards tuition fees and living costs and available for a maximum of four years (£74,000).

The main requirements of this program is that the candidates should have interest in doing research on the eligible fields above. Women candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
