UCL Sarmatian Bursary Programme

The University College London is delighted to offer the Sarmatian Bursary Award for students from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania or Poland who wish to pursue undergraduate degree at the university. Winners will be selected based on their financial needs demonstrated on the application.

Scholarship Description
The purpose of the Sarmatian Bursary Programme is to enable and encourage students from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania or Poland to pursue their undergraduate degrees at University College London in any available subject. One award is available for the 2019/20 academic session.

Award Value
The award will be £10,000 per year, based on a three year programme (if you are on a longer programme, we will pro-rata the payment) and is subject to satisfactory academic progress. The bursary is awarded to cover maintenance costs.

Undergraduate degree in any discipline.

Place of Study
The study will be taken at University College London in UK.

Eligibility and Criteria
To be eligible for the Sarmatian Bursary, applicants for the bursary must:

  • hold EU fee status;
  • be classified as an Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian or Polish national;
  • hold an offer of admission to UCL to study a full-time undergraduate degree for 2019/20 intake (commencing in September 2019).

Applicants’ Nationality
Only the citizens of Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian or Poland may apply.
