Sir Douglas Myers Scholarship at the University of Cambridge, UK

This Sir Douglas Myers Scholarship is exclusively open New Zealander who are intending to pursue undergraduate degree at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University. This will cover tuition fee and living allowances for three years. To apply, the application packet must be received no later than 1 December each year.

Scholarship Description
The Sir Douglas Myers Scholarship provides an opportunity for students who have already distinguished themselves academically to attend one of the most prestigious universities in the world. The expressed hope of Sir Douglas Myers is that graduates will return to New Zealand to become leaders in their chosen fields, to the direct benefit of New Zealand and its people.

Award Value
The Sir Douglas Myers Scholarship covers the tuition fee and living expenses.

Level and Area of Studies
Undergraduate degree in all courses of study excepting medicine and law.

Place of Study
At Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, UK.

Eligibility and Criteria
To be eligible, students must meet the given criteria as follow:

  • be entered for the Year 13 senior school examination (for example, NCEA Level 3, Cambridge exams, etc) or equivalent senior school exam in the year of application;
  • be New Zealand citizens or have New Zealand permanent resident status;
  • normally have completed their five years of secondary schooling in New Zealand.
