Massey University is pleased to announce Sir John Logan Campbell Agricultural Scholarship. This program is specifically intended to New Zealand students from urban areas such as Auckland who are at the first year of undergraduate degree in the area of agriculture at the university. The winner will receive benefit of $1, 500.
The Sir John Logan Campbell Agricultural Scholarship encourages first-year students from urban areas such as Auckland to begin a course in agriculture.
Sir John Logan Campbell was a successful Auckland businessman who lived from 1817 to 1912. He made many donations to the people of Auckland, including Cornwall Park. This scholarship has resulted from money gifted in 1925 from his endowment fund to help set up an agricultural teaching course in Palmerston North
The winner will receive $1,500.

Eligibility and Requirement
- Applicants must be first-year Massey University students who are enrolled full time for either the Bachelor of AgriCommerce degree, the Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree or other suitable degree in agriculture.
- The scholarship is awarded on academic merit. Preference is given to applicants from an urban background who intend to pursue a career within the agricultural sector.
- The University Scholarships Committee may take account of other scholarships and bursaries held by the applicants in seeking an equitable distribution of funds.
