Spencer Fellowship Program for Education Reporting in Colombia

The Columbia University is delighted to invite applications for the Spencer Fellowship Program for Education Reporting. Students from all over the world are welcome to apply. Four best applicants will be selected to receive the award. They will spend time participating in a coursework in Colombia. The application deadline is 1 February 2019.

Fellowship Description
The Columbia University is inviting journalists, educators and education policy researchers for the Spencer Fellowship for Education Reporting at the University, eligible persons are welcome to apply. Four fellows will be selected for this highly competitive program, which combines coursework in residence at Columbia Journalism School and Teachers College, and hands-on advising from education writing experts.

Award Value
Each fellow will be awarded a stipend of $75,000 for personal living expenses, plus $7500 for project expenses.

Non – degree program in Journalism field.

In the United States of America.

Eligibility and Criteria
English language proficiency is mandatory.
all materials including publication clips must be translated into English. There are no academic prerequisites. However, the applicant must have an interest in pursuing academic coursework in support of the project.

Applicants’ Nationality
There is no nationality restriction.
