The Western Armenian Teacher Education Scholarship is provided by Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. This program is targeted to future teachers of Western Armenian. Six winners will be selected to receive the award. The objective of the programme is to prepare a global pool of teachers and professors of the Western Armenian language, contributing to the development of Western Armenian linguistic heritage and education. Level and Area of Studies
Scholarships are available to pursue a career in pre-university level teaching within Armenian schools (or teaching the Armenian language at other schools). The relevant field is Western Armenian language and culture.
Place of Study
The study will be taken in Portugal.
Eligibility and Criteria
Individuals who master Western Armenian and wish to pursue a career in pre-university level teaching within Armenian schools (or teaching the Armenian language at other schools)
Individuals who are already pursuing a teaching career, or have their teaching degree, but wish to master Western Armenian at a recognized university or language teaching centre.
International students may apply.
