The William Chick Scholarship is now open. This will support students undertaking PhD program in the field of Architecture at either the University of Auckland School of Architecture or an approved institution overseas. Please note, only New Zealanders are invited to apply. Those are selected will receive benefit of $27,000 pa. To apply, the application packet must be received no later than 1 December every year.
The William Chick Doctoral Scholarship in Architecture was established in 2002 from the William Chick Scholarship Trust. William Chick desired to give students an opportunity to broaden their studies in New Zealand and overseas and be able to bring the knowledge and experience into their practice of architecture in New Zealand. The main purpose is to assist students undertaking a course of study for a professional qualification in the practice of Architecture to undertake postgraduate study at either the University of Auckland School of Architecture or an approved institution overseas.
Value and Tenure
The winning students will receive benefit of $27,000 pa for three years.

Postgraduate degree in the area of Architecture.
Place of Study
The study can be taken in New Zealand or Overseas
Eligibility and Criteria
All candidates must meet the entry requirements of the applied doctoral program.
